Charles Clew

ALBANY - Charles Clew, 49, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Charles was born in Oswego and raised in Albany. He was employed for many years by the College of St. Rose. Charles loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could in outdoor activities including fishing, camping, and biking. He also loved music and was a talented artist, enjoying drawing and painting.

Charles is survived by his children Charles Clew, III, Angel Clew, Chaz Clew, Sabrina Clew, and Jessie Clew; his mother Nancy Bond (Joseph Ritter); his father Charles Clew; his sister Marie Clew; and his brothers Joseph & Keith Ritter.

Funeral service will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, on Tuesday, February 25th at 12:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
