ALBANY- Janice A. Brady, 82, wife of Robert J. Brady passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Janice was born on September 29, 1942 in Albany, NY and was the daughter of the late George D. Clapp and Winifred J. Clapp Cunningham.
Janice was a 1960 graduate of St. John’s Academy in Rensselaer. She met the love of her life Bob in 1961 and they were married on August 17, 1963. She worked at National Commercial Bank and was later employed by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles until she retired in 2004.
Janice enjoyed reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and never turned down a shopping trip. She was a very social person. She especially enjoyed her lunch dates with the high school girls. Janice was known for her witty sense of humor and you could always count on her for her quick comebacks. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and attending all of their activities. She will always be remembered as a strong woman with a kind and generous heart.
