ALBANY – Joel Multari, 66, of Albany, passed away at home on Saturday, June 3, 2023. He was the son of the late Francesco “Frank” and Angelina Multari. Joel was born in Albany and lived there all his life. He was a graduate of Guilderland Central High School and owned and operated JM Plumbing and Heating. He was a skilled and talented plumber, always ready to help his customers anytime they needed him. Joel enjoyed music and was an amateur musician. Classic rock was definitely his favorite. He loved the outdoors and fishing, especially the years he spent on Lake Champlain. Joel always looked forward to track season in Saratoga. He enjoyed the horses and in fact, loved all animals, especially his pet cat, “Tux”.
Joel is survived by his loving siblings Frank Multari, Jr. (Katherine) of Saratoga Springs, Lily Ann Scanlon (Patrick) of Slingerlands, and Jeffrey Multari of Guilderland; his dear nieces and nephew Jillian Corinne, Whitney Lynne, Jeffrey Angelo and Angelina Maria Multari; and by many cousins.
We will always cherish the memories we shared with Joel. He left us too early and will be dearly missed forever and ever.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family and will include a Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Catholic Church, Albany, and interment in Memory Gardens, Colonie. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hans Funeral Home, Albany. For those wishing to honor Joel’s memory, donations may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204.
