Kenneth P. Panthen

ALBANY- Kenneth P. Panthen, 64, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Monday August 8, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Donald C. Panthen Sr. and Erna Rothlauf Panthen. Ken was employed as a graphic designer with New York State Department of Tax & Finance for 41 years. He was also the co-owner and stylist of the former Peter & Paul Hairstylists of Albany. Ken was a member of the Colonie Elks, enjoyed working outside and spending time with his most cherished family.

He is the beloved husband of 42 years of Elvira Gallo Panthen. Ken is the best father of Tania Panthen (Marvin Williams) and Sabrina (Tomas) Poventud. He is the adored Papa of Isabella and Gia Poventud and Marvin Kenneth Williams. Ken is the brother of Donald Panthen Jr. and the late Robert Panthen.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday moprning at 11:15 at St. Pius X Church. Entombment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic School, Upper Loudon Rd. Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Kenneth P. Panthen.
