ROCKLEDGE, FL – Michael J. Kravitz, age 68, of Rockledge, FL and formerly of Albany, NY passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2023. Mike was a graduate of Vincentian Institute in Albany and a 1980 graduate of Union College with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Mike was an exceptional civil engineer, who worked on numerous public infrastructure projects throughout New York, California and Florida during his more than 40-year engineering career. He was also an avid baseball fan and former stand-out baseball and softball player. Mike will be dearly missed by his family, his long-time grade school and high school friends, and his work colleagues in Florida.
Mike was predeceased by his parents Milton B. Kravitz and Mary R. Kravitz; his brother John Nettleton; and his sister-in-law Regina Nettleton. He is survived by his brother Edward Nettleton of Saratoga; his sister-in-law Margaret Nettleton of Arvada, CO; and his nephews Christopher Nettleton of Gibsonia, PA; Mark Nettleton of Grand Rapids, MI; John Nettleton of Seattle, WA; David Nettleton of Broadalbin, NY; Philip Nettleton of Glenmont, NY; Carlton Nettleton of Lisbon, Portugal; and Geoffrey Nettleton of Arvada, CO, as well as numerous cousins, and life-long friends.
