Rita F. Butler

ALBANY – Rita F. Butler died peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2013.  Born in New York City, Rita was a resident of Albany for over thirty years.  She is survived by two sons, Robert (Sharon Olsen), and Brian (Skip Geel); and by three beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ryan and Emily.

A service will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Tuesday evening at 7:00.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-7 pm.  Interment will be at 10am Wednesday in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.  The family extends their sincere appreciation to the nurses and caregivers who provided endless care for over two years.  To leave a message of condolence for the family, send a sympathy card, or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
