Rose M. Lemme

ALBANY – Rose M. Lemme, 96, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Springs Nursing Home in Troy.  Mrs. Lemme was born in Albany, and lived here all her life.  She was a communicant of the former St. Margaret Mary’s Church and a member of the church seniors group.  She also was employed for many years by Montgomery Ward Co. in Menands.  She enjoyed bowling with the Dobler’s Mixed League, and also loved to read mysteries, and work on crafts, knitting and crocheting.

Mrs. Lemme was predeceased by her husband Joseph P. Lemme in 1995.  She is survived by her daughter Catherine L. “Honey” Kratz of Feura Bush; her brother Salvatore Annello (Shirley) of Lake City, FL; her grandchildren Michael Kratz (Mercedes), Mary Katherine Kratz, Joanne Kratz, and Peter Kratz (Suzannah); her great grandchildren Emily, Jenson, Alannah, Eliza, and Sarah Kratz; and by many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers Anthony, Joseph, Maurice, Carmen, Michael, Pippi, and John Annello; her sisters Angela Bernado, Felice Testa, and Mary Conde; and her grandchildren Patricia and Stephen Kratz.

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Tuesday morning at 9:00, and from there to St. Michael’s Chapel, 507 Rte 9W, Glenmont, at 10:00.  Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 p.m.  Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.  To leave a message of condolence for the family, send a sympathy card, or obtain directions to the funeral home, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.
