Ruth B. Klee

ALBANY – Ruth B. Klee, 95, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Albany Medical Center. Ruth was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Robert P. and Ida Weber Brecht. She lived here all her life, and was employed by the dental offices of Dr. Moran and previously Dr. Clyman. Ruth took great pleasure in gardening, tending her fish pond, feeding the birds, reading and watching the NY Yankees. She was a longtime active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband James J. Klee and her brother Rene Weber. She is survived by her dear children David Klee, Barbara Ableman (Glenn), and Nancy Taylor (James); her granddaughters Ashley Stevens (Galen), Carrie Ableman (Brendan), Brittany Ableman (Vinny), and Darlene Dollar-Sawyer (Andrew).

Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately on Thursday in Memory Gardens, Colonie. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 303 Sand Creek Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
